Joanna Cooper – Founder of FROM WITHIN

Joanna Cooper is a certified practising nutritionist (BScH), cookbook author, lawyer, entrepreneur, human rights advocate, and mother of three, with over 18 years of experience in helping people achieve optimal health through nutrition and lifestyle. Growing up in Hong Kong with a Chinese father and Australian mother (both of whom had careers in medicine), Joanna’s Eurasian heritage instilled in her a deep respect for the healing power of food, believing that “nutrition is medicine” from a very young age.
Joanna’s expertise spans a range of areas, including autoimmune conditions, hormonal balance, gut health, pre- and post-operative care, and health span optimisation. Her approach combines analytical skills honed from her legal background, culinary skills, and evidence-based nutritional science to create personalised strategies that empower clients to thrive. Joanna holds an LLB from UTS, a Master’s in International Relations from Sydney University, and a Diploma in Putonghua from Beijing Language & Cultural University. She is also Vice-Chair of the Ethics Committee and member of AARPN and member of CMA.
